On September 28, Southview Senior Living and the Southview Senior Communities team will be joining the Alzheimer’s Association Minnesota-North Dakota for the 2019 Walk to End Alzheimer’s at Target Field. There are 5.8 million Americans living with Alzheimer’s today, and that number is projected to rise to nearly 14 million by 2050. We’d love your help as we work to raise awareness, reduce risk, and eliminate Alzheimer’s through research and care. Learn more about donating and/or registering to walk. Together, we can fight to end Alzheimer’s!
Here are some photos from last year’s walk.

We held our 2019 Alzheimer’s Association BBQ Fundraiser on August 21, and it was a HUGE success! We want to give a big thank you to all the volunteers, donors, and attendees who made it such an amazing time. And, of course, a special thanks goes to our residents who volunteered to help shuck the corn for the event! ??
Everyone had a wonderful time at our friend Cathy’s house! We spent the afternoon enjoying her beautiful garden and eating ice cream sundaes and snickerdoodle cookies.

We held our state fair foods day and had so much fun trying the classic eats and drinks! We tried mini corn dogs, mini donuts, corn on the cob, popcorn, ice cream, soda, cold beer, and lemonade. There were souvenir fair bags with cotton candy and a great big cookie to take home, too! YUM, YUM! We appreciate everyone who helped with decorating, setting up, serving food, and cleaning up.Read More

Every year we have four days of celebrating Christmas in July! We did Christmas carols with Amy & Adams. We even have a tree and a roaring fire! It was a great time singing. We also had a made-to-order Christmas morning breakfast with Christmas pastries and Christmas candy. Everything was decorated in the Christmas spirit. To end our four days of fun, we also showed a holiday movie with hot cocoa, snickerdoodle cookies, and snowball bingo! What a cool way to end the month of July!Read More
