Southview Senior Living’s Chef Josh always has great ideas for menu items. For a recent happy hour event, he came up with a crafty concept for a drink. Chef Josh surprised residents with frozen dentures that turned into Shirley Temples. As you can see by the photos, residents were both puzzled and amused — and everyone enjoyed the drinks and company.

On October 25th, one of our tenants celebrated a very special birthday.
Bud turned 100 years young, and 100 never looked so good! Everyone here at Southview helped him celebrate, including his sister Lu and brother-in-law George. Happy, happy birthday to you, Bud! 🎂

Congratulations to Paul! He was the winner for Best Halloween Costume.
Grace, one our longtime tenants at Southview Senior Living, recently left us to be near her daughter. We sent her off with lots of love and well wishes. She will be missed very much. Grace didn’t want it to be goodbye, so she called it her “retirement,” which is very true. She did so much for our community and tenants.
Last month, we threw a welcome party for our new nurse, Amber. Everyone had a great time meeting and welcoming her to our amazing community. She makes an incredible addition to our staff and we are so lucky to have her. Please join us in welcoming Amber to Southview Senior Living! 👩⚕️⚕️

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially when it means surrounding yourself with friends. Residents at Southview Senior Living got together to enjoy their first made-to-order breakfast in a long time. 🥐🥓🥞🍳☕
The food was hot and delicious, but what made this day even more special was being able to spend time with one another over breakfast. The smiles and laughter were clear signs of just how much our residents missed the social aspect of this event.

Tasha is very loved by the Southview residents, so we celebrated the happy occasion with cake and punch. We wish Tasha and her family all the best! 💍👰🏾
We had plenty of “hoppy” times at Southview Senior Living while celebrating Easter! 🐰🥚💐
To prepare for the holiday, some of our community members spent time coloring Easter eggs. We even tried a fun experiment where we left five of the eggs to dry in the refrigerator overnight – the colors came out so bright and beautiful! The Easter bunny also hopped by for a surprise visit, which put a smile on everyone’s face. And congratulations to Judy, the winner of our “golden Easter egg hunt.” We hope you enjoy your gift card and sweets! 🎉🍫
