Fall Fun at Southview Senior Living

December 8th, 2021

To celebrate Halloween, everyone at Southview Senior Living enjoyed delicious and spooky treats, entertainment performed by Amy & Adams, and lots of great costumes. We had so much fun! 👻

On October 25th, one of our tenants celebrated a very special birthday.

Bud turned 100 years young, and 100 never looked so good! Everyone here at Southview helped him celebrate, including his sister Lu and brother-in-law George. Happy, happy birthday to you, Bud! 🎂

The results are in from Southview Senior Living’s Halloween Costume Contest.

Congratulations to Paul! He was the winner for Best Halloween Costume.

Grace, one our longtime tenants at Southview Senior Living, recently left us to be near her daughter. We sent her off with lots of love and well wishes. She will be missed very much. Grace didn’t want it to be goodbye, so she called it her “retirement,” which is very true. She did so much for our community and tenants.

Mother’s Day Event & Other Fun Activities

May 27th, 2021

Southview Senior Living hosted a Mother’s Day event to celebrate the moms and all our lovely ladies. Our residents enjoyed treats, beverages, and entertainment in honor of their special day.

The ladies had a great time smiling and laughing together. 😊🌺

Residents at Southview Senior Living were treated to a Cinco de Mayo celebration in the comfort of their own homes. We went door-to-door to deliver margaritas and empanadas to commemorate the day, and our residents were more than happy to enjoy and indulge. Salud!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially when it means surrounding yourself with friends. Residents at Southview Senior Living got together to enjoy their first made-to-order breakfast in a long time. 🥐🥓🥞🍳☕

The food was hot and delicious, but what made this day even more special was being able to spend time with one another over breakfast. The smiles and laughter were clear signs of just how much our residents missed the social aspect of this event.

Celebrating May Day & an Associate’s Wedding

May 14th, 2021

At Southview Senior Living, we welcomed the month of May with open arms – and a little creativity.

Residents celebrated May Day and had a great time making baskets filled with lollipop flowers. Take a look at some of the crafting talent we have in our community.

Everyone at Southview Senior Living would like to send warmest congratulations to Tasha, our full-time morning aide, on her wedding day. Tasha was a lovely and luminous bride in her beautiful dress, and she had her two wonderful sons at her side.

Tasha is very loved by the Southview residents, so we celebrated the happy occasion with cake and punch. We wish Tasha and her family all the best! 💍👰🏾
