Celebrating May Day & an Associate’s Wedding

Celebrating May Day & an Associate’s Wedding

May 14th, 2021

At Southview Senior Living, we welcomed the month of May with open arms – and a little creativity.

Residents celebrated May Day and had a great time making baskets filled with lollipop flowers. Take a look at some of the crafting talent we have in our community.

Everyone at Southview Senior Living would like to send warmest congratulations to Tasha, our full-time morning aide, on her wedding day. Tasha was a lovely and luminous bride in her beautiful dress, and she had her two wonderful sons at her side.

Tasha is very loved by the Southview residents, so we celebrated the happy occasion with cake and punch. We wish Tasha and her family all the best! πŸ’πŸ‘°πŸΎ

“Hoppy” Times while Celebrating Easter

April 16th, 2021

We had plenty of “hoppy” times at Southview Senior Living while celebrating Easter! 🐰πŸ₯šπŸ’

To prepare for the holiday, some of our community members spent time coloring Easter eggs. We even tried a fun experiment where we left five of the eggs to dry in the refrigerator overnight – the colors came out so bright and beautiful! The Easter bunny also hopped by for a surprise visit, which put a smile on everyone’s face. And congratulations to Judy, the winner of our “golden Easter egg hunt.” We hope you enjoy your gift card and sweets! πŸŽ‰πŸ«

Southview Senior Living received heartwarming, thoughtful Valentine’s gifts from the families of a couple of our residents. Lois’s family sent our staff a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a card expressing their gratitude. We also received a card along with a variety of coffee grounds and chocolates to enjoy from the family of Dorothy W. Thank you so much for the kind gesture! We are so grateful and lucky to have such a close-knit and supportive community. β€πŸ’

Southview Senior Living residents showed off their creative side with a Valentine’s Day mason jar craft earlier this month. Everyone who participated had a blast, and look how amazing the final products turned out!

Staff and residents were great at dressing up. We had a contest for best costume, and our masked man won. Nobody could guess who he was! What a great costume! It was our tenant Paul Rodriguez. Congratulations, Paul, for winning the Target gift card!

Check out some pictures of our Garden Cove residents celebrating Halloween. They made their own Halloween masks, and we celebrated with sundaes. They all looked so good in their Halloween best!
