Tenant Appreciation Days!

September 27th, 2017

We celebrated Tenant Appreciation days at Southview Senior Living! We had four special days to say thank you to all of our tenants for all the nice things they do to help us out. They are all wonderful! To first say thanks we had an apple pie & cinnamon ice cream party. Then we had a movie day watching the movie, “A Dogs Purpose” with popcorn & lemonade. Then we had a special bingo day with prizes, our tenants loved it. We ended the tenants days with ice cream sundaes, what a fun four days they had, they are our special angels!

2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s Recap

September 25th, 2017

The Twin Cities 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s was a huge success this year! Over 1.3 million dollars was raised with 6,632 participants and 744 teams, the Southview Senior Communities team being one of them. Our team members that came out to walk the 1 or 2.3 mile option from Southview Senior Living had a blast helping to raise awareness and funds to fight the Alzheimer’s disease.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the event whether it was walking or donating!

Your participation helped the Southview Senior Communities team raise $23,940 which well exceeded our goal of $10,000!!

Grandparents Day Celebration

September 12th, 2017

The tenants and family members at Southview Senior Living had a blast at our Grandparents Day Celebration! We had games for the grandparents & grandkids, such as golf, basketball, and ring toss. We also had crafts which involved making bracelets, making things with play dough, and spin a paints. Everyone also enjoyed ice cream sandwiches, lemonade,  giant cookies & of course cotton candy. What a fun day!

State Fair Food Days

September 5th, 2017

Here at Southview Senior Living we enjoyed a State Fair Food Days! We had ice cold beer, lemonade, popcorn, mini donuts, corn on the cob, and mini corn dogs. They said everything was better then the State Fair! Everyone also got a commemorative bag from our fair to take home with cotton candy and a great big chocolate chip cookie. I couldn’t out do Sweet Martha’s cookies so I went bigger Ha Ha, what a fun day we had, the tenants loved it.

The 2017 Walk to End Alzheimer’s will take place on Saturday, September 9th at the Target Field in Minneapolis, MN. The registration begins at 7:30 AM, then the cermony at 9:00 AM, and lastly the walk at 9:25 AM. The walk is a 1 or 2.3 mile option and welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. Register to participate in the Walk, your fundraising dollars fuel our mission, and your participation helps to change the level of Alzheimer’s awareness in our community.
