Southview Festivities!

December 13th, 2018

Our residents in memory care had a very special visit! The family of Pastor Kom’s wife, Michelle, was visiting for Thanksgiving and brought every resident a beautiful poinsettia for Christmas. They also sang some Christmas songs. What a wonderful surprise for our residents.

Here are pictures of our Christmas decorating throughout the building. What a great job our little elves did making our building look festive for the holidays! We had beautiful piano music performed by our resident, Shirley Dykstra. We also had holiday cookies, eggnog, and lots of fun. Plus, one tired activity director named Donna hiding under the tree!

Recent Celebrations

November 29th, 2018

At Southview Senior Living, we have many things to celebrate! Recently, we had a very special Veteran’s Day Memorial Program with a prayer service to honor our veterans and their families. This program was followed by a social hour. Check out our pictures below.

We also celebrated our anniversary. Southview Senior Living turns 13! Take a peek at some pictures from our 13th anniversary celebration. Lance and Lisa came by and told our tenants about the history of Southview Senior Living and how it all started. The residents really enjoyed hearing the history and getting to meet Lance and Lisa. What a wonderful day!

A Spook-tacular Halloween!

November 13th, 2018

At Southview Senior Living, we had the best spook-tacular Halloween yet! Our tenants enjoyed painting pumpkins to take home. We had a Halloween party, and it was a great time. Staff and residents were great at dressing up. We had a contest for best costume, and our masked man won. Nobody could guess who he was! What a great costume! It was our tenant Paul Rodriguez. Congratulations, Paul, for winning the Target gift card!

Check out some pictures of our Garden Cove residents celebrating Halloween. They made their own Halloween masks, and we celebrated with sundaes. They all looked so good in their Halloween best!
